This year too Onam was celebrated with a sumptuous feast at the residence of Dr Sundari Ravindran at Cheruvickal, Trivandrum on Sept 9th 2007.  This was preceded by the Annual General Body meeting of members where the new set of Executive Committee members was elected. The president Sri Perumpuzha Gopalakrishan addressed the gathering and the Secretary, Sri. Pradeep Kumar presented the annual report of the club activities during the tenure of the outgoing committee.  The Treasurer, Sri. Rajan, presented the accounts of the club before the members. After approval of the annual report, the members held detailed discussions on future programs and projects to be implemented in the coming years.

During election of the Executive Committee members, all the members were of the opinion that the present committee should continue. However, due to personal reasons, Mr. Jayachandran was replaced by Sri. Santosh and all the previous EC members were re-elected for one more term.

Onam is a time for festivity and fun. And the Madhurima kids had a good time while the AGM was on.

President, Sri Perumpuzha detailing to the members what all of their suggestions, such as procurement of a sound system and increase in monthy subscription, would be implemented in the coming year. 

Traditional Onasadhya served in plantain leaves. Madhurima members sat on the floor and had their sadhya that consisted of a full course vegetarian meal followed by Adapradhaman and palpayasam. 

For Mrs. Sindhu and Usha, the meal is over; however, the content and satisfaction is evident. 

The muscial program started with a group Onam song  by the members.

The kids rendered beautiful little songs; most of them related to Onam, creating a festive mood.

Elders like Smt. Parvathy rendered songs explaining the raga in which the song is composed and various other songs composed in the same raga.
